The New Hampshire Challenge, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which serves the state of New Hampshire. Our primary work is the publication of a statewide quarterly newspaper, The New Hampshire Challenge, for families who have members with disabilities.
The New Hampshire Challenge is a quarterly publication which disseminates in-depth information on disability issues from a family perspective.
The Challenge is mailed to 7,000 households, 90% of which are in the New England area, with the remaining distributed nationally and internationally. In addition, 4,000 copies are mailed to organizations that serve these families. Every library in the state of New Hampshire receives five copies for distribution. The Challenge also reaches thousands of readers world-wide through its online edition at www.nhchallenge.org
The New Hampshire Challenge over 14 years ago was founded by a parent of a child with a disability who knew first-hand the importance of reliable, in-depth information in making good decisions for her son and family. The Challenge has grown from a mailing list of 250 to the present numbers.
Our organization is supported primarily through grants, donations, and other contributions. The Challenge is a free publication. |

Articles and Letters to the Editor:
The New Hampshire Challenge is printed four times a year, and welcomes the submission of articles and letters to the editor on topics of relevance and interest to families who have members with disabilities.
Copy must be typed and may be mailed, faxed or e-mailed. Pictures are welcome. Please include your full name, address, and day and evening phone numbers for verification. We cannot publish articles or letters without verification. The Challenge reserves the right to exercise editorial judgment in the selection and publication of materials.
